is Port Checker service affecting?

I'm trying to run portcheck in shell, do IPSI test. Is this service affecting?

cm5 has issues with portcheck,

Portcheck command drives IPSIs insane - broken on cm5.1 but not cm4

IPSIs on FW 43 & 44 not affected

fix is 5.1.2 - 01.2.416.4 or higher
5.2.0 - 02.0.939.0 or higher

scheduled for SP 5.1.1sp03.00

portcheck script is installed by the SanityChecker RPM
portcheck no longer supported and will be removed in future loads.
