Hi All,
I'm kinda new to using CITRIX and some of my users are getting a " $ is not a valid integer Value". This happens when the users have connected to our box and they are running a report and exporting it to an excel file. Please advise of what the possible fix can be?

This sounds more like an app issue than a Citrix issue. Have you tried running the exact same export as a user for whom this is working?

Perhaps the report is exporting data that contains a "$" and it is viewed by the Excel object as being invalid. Parse the report data prior to exporting to NOT include a "$" in data it may be in.

Don't suppose they are connecting to a hidden share to get to your server? Thats the only other time I'd expect to see a $ appearing (eg //server1/myshare$)

I've run into issues with publishing applications to a hidden share causing issues for some users, so it might just be worth double checking how they are actually connecting, in case this is part of the problem. It does sounds, though, like this is something within Excel which is causing the problem, but it only takes a second to check and it might help! See what path Excel is trying to export the report too, that may also be causing you issues. You might find they're trying to run the report on one server and trying to output it to another server because of how it is set up. Workaround there would be to make sure its exporting to a local drive, not a network one.

Best of luck!
