Is Norton Antivirus 2000 as good as Nortons 2002? The reason I ask is cuz I have 2000 on my machine now, but a co-worker insists on buying 2002. Shouldn't 2000 catch all the viruses like Love, Sircam, Nimda, as long as I get the updates? Thank you so much for your help?

Steve :)

Norton 2000 should do fine as long as you update the definitions. The only problem with Norton I see is having to pay for virus updates. That is what I am fighting right now. I installed it 4 months ago on my home PC, Now I cannot update until I subscribe (which costs $) James Collins

You have to pay for updates?! You have to pay for the program as it is! That can't be right!

If you have paid for the program, when you install it you have 1 year free updates. When the year is up, reinstall it for another year.

Cheers,

Mark ;-)
