is my remote 5610 phone dead ?

ip500 v1 phone system software version 4.2, have 3 remote VPN 5610 phones at workers homes. Phones connect directly to our netgear FVS338 using IKE & VPN policies as per Avaya Tech tip 184 ( option 2 )

This week, one remote phone wont connect with following symptoms - at boot up it says:

Initializing..
Loading 1572KB (this is for a few seconds)
Starting..
100mbps Ethernet
DCHP (this is for a few seconds)

Then a blank screen and then it starts all over again.

My other remote VPN phones that work at the loading line say
Loading ..

DCHP and then starts the VPN connection

All three VPN phone were programmed the same 2 years ago before we deployed them. I cant figure out whay may have caused this problem unless the phone crashed ?

Also, when I press * at DHCP on the non working phone, all the settings are 0.0.0.0 - not sure if that what it says when it cant boot properly.

Also, this VPN 5610 is 3000 miles away and I am tring to see if I can trouble shoot this any further or do I have a dead phone on my hands
 
Looks like maybe it got reset. It shows different FW sizes...so maybe it just has the stock FW rather than the VPN firmware now.
I don't think its dead, I think it cannot find a DHCP server and the VPN firmware isn't loaded so it cannot connect to the call server.
