I recently got a book on Lotus Script 3, and the code inside look a lot like VB, so does Lotus Notes use VB for scripting with different built in objects?
They aren't the same, but the construct is very similar...as with other languages.<br>

LotusScript does use classes, objects (sort of) and properties. There are built in things, and things you "create" as you code.<br>
<br>
Where there are a variety of environments one might use VB, LotusScript can only be used with Domino/Notes products - and recently, with Lotus SmartSuite products to some extent.<br>

P.S. The book you have IS a little old. If you want to get into this some, check out the free downloads/browsable help files on the Notes.net site.
