Hi all,

We receive the message below and are curious as to whether or not it is failing as a whole or just because the server becomes inactive.
Is there anything we can do to prevent this as it is happening every night.

NetWorker Savegroup: (alert) FileSys completed, 1 client(s) (server Failed)
Start time: Mon Mar 11 20:00:22 2002
End time: Tue Mar 12 04:37:48 2002

--- Unsuccessful Save Sets ---

* server:D:\ save: D:\Data\Private\Client name\E-Mail\Client name.pst: cannot open (The process cannot access the file becauseit is being used by another process.)
* server:D:\ has been inactive for 35 minutes since Tue Mar 12 03:58:44 2002.
* server:D:\ is being abandoned by nsrexec.

--- Successful Save Sets ---

backup: index:server level=full, 1666 MB 00:03:24 20 files

Dear ftz73,

1. Your backup is successful, only Client name.pst is not backed up, as NetWorker backs up only closed files.
2. Make the user close its pst file or install Legato's Open File Manager to backup the file even if it is open.

Regards
István

Hmm, Not sure that is the case. It looks to me as if the whole D:drive is abandoned. Only index is backed up. Try backin up the c: drive for instance. If you'll see the same problem there check that nsrexecd is started on the client and that you have a working TCP/IP connection between the server and client.
