Is it possible two link two different databases? Eg Progress and SQL

We are at present in working using two different case-management packages. Solicitec and TFB. To report on each is great easy. But in need to link the data in each report and then filter it. Can anyone please help.


Solictec uses a Progress database. &

TFB uses a SQL database.

Please help. Heads getting sore.

Yes it is posible to use 2 tables from diferent providers in Crystal, you just have to add the 2 diferents table selecting the corresponding provider.
You must watch the links you make beacuse they would have to be the same field type.

Beware that connecting to two different data sources may disable some features though. You may not be able to run stored procedures and all of the grouping may be done locally which can greatly reduce preformance on complex reports.
