Hi,

I need to create two tables. One obtained from data in a conventional way (use DTS to input Oracle data into the table), the second from Document names stored within a network locatio. I am not sure this is possible, hence this query.

So in the network \\LON1\BEScanning\
There are multiple folders
In them are sub-folders
Then them are scanned documents

I want to create a list of all dosuments stored in these subfolders plus their network paths, and use DTS to import.

I want to end up with something like:

\\LON1\BEScanning\Folder1\SubFolder_a\doc1.tif
\\LON1\BEScanning\Folder1\SubFolder_a\doc2.tif
\\LON1\BEScanning\Folder1\SubFolder_b\doc3.tif
\\LON1\BEScanning\Folder1\SubFolder_b\doc4.tif
\\LON1\BEScanning\Folder2\SubFolder_a\doc5.tif
\\LON1\BEScanning\Folder2\SubFolder_a\doc6.tif
\\LON1\BEScanning\Folder2\SubFolder_b\doc7.tif
\\LON1\BEScanning\Folder2\SubFolder_b\doc8.tif

As long as I can generate such a list, then I am okay with using DTS to do the import, I just need to know if it is possible to generate such a list for DTS to use.

You will have to modify it a bit to account for sub folders, and to generate the list, but this should not be too hard. So this should get you started. Post back with any specific questions

Good Luck,
