We use IP Office 4.1.1201 and use Avaya 4620SW IP phones. We have some older, pre-upgrade, Avaya 4606 IP phones. When we boot them up, we're able to program them appropriately but after we enter the extension the phone boots into a loop.

Does anyone have a way we can utilize the older 4606 IP phones?

Alternatively does anyone have a copy of 46xxsettings.txt from a prior to 4.1 IPO install I could get a copy of please?

Possible sure, supported no. The 4606 phone is still included in the 46xxupgrade.scr even with the latest 4.1 software and will upgrade to 1.8.3.

They didn't "remove" the support for these phones from the firmware they simply didn't test them nor will they help you if they don't work.

"The following terminals are not supported by IP Office 4.1. They may function but have not been tested with 4.1 and any faults reported with 4.1 will not be fixed.
• 20DT Analog DECT used with IP Office Analog DECT and Compact DECT
• 4606, 4612 and 4624 IP phones
• TransTalk 9040"
