Hi all

Solstice 5.1
Solaris 2.6
STK Jukebox 9710 = 8 x DLT7000 + Expansion unit = 560 slots

As we imporve our infrastructure buy removing old unreliable external disks and replacing them with MTI Vivant S200 Raid boxes 1.7TB each and the fact that the user community will grab as much disk space as they humanly can, I need to implement cloning but I am fast filling up my slots (494 at present in use).

Does anybody know if it is possible to attach either directly or via the network a seperate set of drives for example a "Seagate Viper 2000" which uses the newer "LTO" technology and use this to write the clone tapes.

Many Thanks in advance
