Is it possible to transfer data from exchange server 5.5 to 2000?

Is it possible to transfer data from an exchange server 5.5 to an exchange server 2000 having both servers with different domain names? If so, how?

How about using the migration wizard that comes with E2k? I just did an upgrade from 5.5 to 2000 on the weekend (35 users, fresh install of e2K) ..used the wizard - it was the smoothest upgrade I have ever seen!
