Is it possible to stroke the clipping path of a placed object?

I'm sure this can be done - any ideas? I can only get the picture box itself to be stroked, rather than the image that is placed within the box.

Just be sure to stroke it gently.

As far as I know, there is not a way to do this.

Why would you need to do it? Just stroke the thing in Photoshop.
 
Or Illustrator, depending on the type of image.

Unless you copy an image out of Illustrator and paste it into InDesign, they're basically uneditable.
