I run FLASH movie as a single application (not from the server) and want to store some variables in the text file.

Is it possible?

All I've found in documentations is sending the information to the server. But there is no server! It runs itself (not in a web browser).

Thank you,
Serge

Yes sir. You can store any text in a file on a user's computer. You can actually ave Flash 5 create the file and put the text into it. The catch is, the computer MUST have DOS installed. Most computers have DOS, but then again, there are a lot of people out there who prefer not to use it. Since I already helped someone out with this in a previous post, I'll simply supply the link.
