As an example of what I need... I'm looking for the same functionality that Tools->Options->General->BlueBackground, White Text gives you. I simply need a different color.
I can't use a *.DOT to set this and I don't want the background to be inherent to the document, simply a view on an individual workstation for any document opened in Word.

Jeff:

Only two ways, Jeff. Tools-Options, General tab. Choose Blue background, white text.

The only other way to set this may change other settings as well, which you might not want. It's a Windows setting. Here's how it's done.

Right-click Desktop.
Hit Properties.
Choose Appearance tab.
At bottom, under ITEM, choose Window.
Change color.
Hit Ok.

Hope it helps. dreamboat@nni.com
