I have frontpage 2000 and have created a web site that has data entry forms. I set up frontpage to automatically email me the results of the form and it works fine. The data results go to the forms_results.txt file on the web server.
Is there any way that frontpage can retrieve the file or do I have to retrieve it manually by opening the web throught frontpage or using FTP file transfer on the text file?

Thanks

Perhaps I don't understand your question, but can't you just open the text file in your browser? If it is quick and convenient access you are looking for, you could even create a shortcut on your desktop that would look something like
Code:
[URL unfurl="true"]http://your[/URL] domain name/foldername/forms_results.txt
. If prompted to Open the file or Save it to disk, select Open. I know this works with Internet Explorer but I haven't tried it with other browsers.

Thanks for responding. What I am trying to do is find a way short of me manually copying or (cutting & pasting the text results) from the web server to my pc. I am trying to find a way short of programming that could send the results of a text file that has data added to it from a frontpage data entry form to my pc
