Hey I'm new here, but I hope I can get help on a massive problem. I had just installed a fresh install of Vista (which is very nice) and restored my documents and the like, I also made an encrypted drive to house some sensitive files on my computer with TrueCrypt. Unfortunately I had only put Vista on a 50 gig partition so I needed to back it up to my USB drive, recreate the partition to 100 gig and full format it as ntfs and then copy it all back onto the new 100 gig partition. The problem arose when i thought that I was repartitioning the USB drive, but I ended up partitioning my encrypted drive because they both end in *98GB (198 and 298) so i got confused. to add insult to injury i formated it before i could stop myself.

Is it possible to recover the encrypted data, i still know the password.

Here is my setup...
2 160 GB HDDs in a RAID stripe
1 100 GB partition (this one is fine)
1 198 GB partition (this one is fried)
encrypted in AES blowfish
I deleated the partition, made two partitions and then QUICK formatted it with NTFS, freaked out and remade the partition as 198 GB.

I thank ANYONE who can help me. I'm currently using Active@Unerase and Active@Filerecovery
