I have a membership database for a club. We are scattered geographically & have 2 or 3 people updating records in it. presently we download it from our server make changes & re-upload. What I would like to do is put an input filed on the switchboard with an attached date & time stamp field so that the person who last worked on it & the date appears on the switchboard when it first loads. I tried creating the 2 fields in a new table, but I can't link an input box on the switchboard page to it.

How are ya avayaman . . .

Are these 2 or 3 people who perform the updating scattered abroad and could update at any time or are they using the same machine?

They are in a couple of locations in Canada & the US. It really has not been a hassle, we just email each other before downloading it then do the same after re-uploading. I just thought it would be nice to have a name & date on the switchboard so you know when the last change was done & by whom.
