We are currently using 6 Nortel Meridian Option 11c PBX's with Call Pilot, and Sympoisum. Is it possible to replace 1 of the PBX's, Symposium, and Call Pilot with a Cisco solution? Basically I would like to get started with Cisco, but would need the 5 other PBX's and digital phones to work with the Cisco until we could replace them down the road.

Any information or thoughts on this is appreciated!

You can connect the Cisco and nortel together using QSIG.

This allowing you a path to the Nortel side...

Aknip - wouldn't happen to be Allen would it? What are you trying to replace? Just the admin phones on the 11 or the CP and symposium too? You can certainly integrate, but make sure you are going to get the feature you want from Cisco. And make sure your QOS is good if you are doing more than just linking them with a T1.

Nope, Andy. We're wanting to replace our call center phones, and the PBX at that site which also includes CP and symposium. We're on an older software release and don't want to invest the money to upgrade the nortel. We add a new site every year or two and are tired of the constant upgrade cost across the board.
