Is it possible to mix ADI and PLDS licensing for IP Office 9.1

Hello Guys,

Can't seem to find a clear answer, but is it possible to mix ADI and PLDS licensing? I've done upgrades in the past and we had to convert licenses from ADI to PLDS. I'm not doing an upgrade, but adding an additional phone and was provided with a PLDS license.

Is it possible to mix ADI and PL licenses?

It is but strongly not recommended.

I would move all.licenses to PLDS

IP Office remote service
IP Office certificate check
CLI based call blocking
SCN fallback over PSTN

If you have only just bought this phone license, it will be useless on the 9.1 system

R9 license haven't ben availabel for purchase for many years. You will have been sold an R11 compatible license.

Different bits of the code do "is the system PLDS licensed/is it ADI licensed" checks before they then checking for the availability of the required ADI or PLDS license they want to verify. So basically, if you mix licenses you potentially get random results based which license entitlement is being checked for and whether the license for it that you have is in the ADI set or the PLDS file.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.
