Is it possible to install SQL Express and SQL Server on the same machine?

The problem is I need to create a distributable .net windows application and I was planning on using SQL Express as the backend database. If I recall it is not possible to package a SQL Server database with the app? Or am I incorrect?

Thanks,

Yes you can install SQL Express and SQL Server on the same machine. Each instance will need to have a seperate instance name.

You can package SQL Express or MSDE will an application, but you can not bundle full blown SQL Server. If you do you'll have to include a license for SQL Server and add that to the cost.
