Hi, is it possible to import a database make in Access to
FileMaker??? or I must make a new database in FileMaker.

Any ideas????

Thank in advance.

There is a way. The most simple way is to use Excel as a database converter. Juste open your database with Excel then save it as a dbf or other type compatible with Filemaker import system. Then import that database to your Filemaker. You can use the same procedure on reverse to.

I find the best way to import and export files is to use TAB-DELIMITED TEXT files.

So in Access export to .tab delimited text file and simply import that to FMPRO.

What you can do also is to create a Blank file as a template, with the same field name as in the access file.

Then the import and export between Access and FMPRO, is dead easy. Steve Butterworth
