Is it possible to access NetWare groups (or other NetWare entity) via LDAP in such a way that each will expand to become multiple e-mail addresses ?

We used to use Pegasus, with that you could address e-mails to #groupname. We are migrating across to sendmail under Linux and although we do have the facility to do it there, using grp.groupname, administering it is the usual Linux text file arrangment and is therefore clumsy and error prone.

Thanks in advance,
Beeappy.

I would say that you can do just about anything with LDAP. It all depends on how you set it up and what criteria is specified.

LDAP is very powerful, and as you already know, has a lot of features/functions.

Novell has a book on using LDAP that is worth purchasing, gives you all the ins and outs of using LDAP and what can and can't be done etc.
