Hi,

Since the maximum number of voicemails stored in a given VM box is 99, does anyone have a method to group several of them together to overcome this limit?

I wondered if it might be possible to place three of them together in a hunt group, each with its own NamTag Huntgroup. Would that work? When one of the mailboxes is full would it then move on to the next? Can you even do this?

Thanks for any thoughts!

Tim

Why not email out each message in a .wav file? Then the only limit is your email account.

By the way, it is better to get into the habit of telling the forum what VM system or product or release version you are working on. Too many variables to guess at. Please check out this link faq1329-7115

Crikey, its a 3300 running Ver6 software currently (soon to be upgraded to the latest release) and I haven't a clue how it could email voicemails as .wavs!

I ran into your issue quite a while back and email was not an option for me. This was set up on a SX200 and I don't know if I've tried this on a 3300.

On a SX200, a call to a hunt group member will follow the members Call foward No Answer routing and integrate with the members voicemail. On a 3300, I suspect the integration will be with the Huntgroup DN.

You can test this by placing an existing phone in a hunt group that currently has RNA routing to vm. Call the huntgroup and see if the users mailbox answers.

If this works, just add more members (virtual) and make the huntgroup circular.

If it doesn't work, you're left with adding (Or using) the advanced VM feature to email the messages.

My trick mentioned above does not work on the 3300.

The only option is automatic email and delete.
