I am setting up MAS90 on a remote users machine. He has
complete access to the mas90 files and is able to run
anything he wants on mas90. I just put a shortcut on
his machine that points to mas90 on the machine with the
mas90 files. The issue is that his system runs painfully
slow. He is the only person that works offsite. In hopes of
speeding up his system I was trying to install MAS90 on
his machine but would like his mas90 to point to the
datafiles on another machine. He is able to map a network
drive on his machine to the directory on the machine with
the datafiles. I created a new company as a test and then
went to the accounts receivable module. I received a message
saying the files were not created and did I want to create
them. I clicked on yes. The next dialog asked for a path
to the datafiles but I was unable to enter my own path.
All I could choose were paths chosen by MAS90. Is it
possible to have mas90 look for the datafiles on a path
that I choose? I am using version 3.41. Any help would be
greatly appreciated.
