Hello,
So I will start by saying that I am no PBX engineer but hopefully you wonderful people can help me with my simple question. We have just moved from an Avaya switch to a Nortel Meridian, I am not looking t debate the pros and cons of either but rather ask how to do what I used to be able to do
We are using the GPHT function and have the PLDN set up with the list etc. The function works fine. The problem is that at the moment it takes too long before it moves on to the next DN in the list. We could set this on our Avaya switch by the number of rings. Can something similar be done on the Meridian PBX? If so how?
Thanks very much

Do you want all the phones to ring at once?

or

Do you want an ACD queue where it looks for the longest idle agent?

hello, thanks for the response but we actaully want neither :)

It is set to Linear, so ring phone 1 then phone 2 then phone 3.
I am looking to change the time it takes to move from phone 1 to phone 2 etc.
I hope this makes sense.

Thanks

Ahh, I've never set that up before, I won't be of any help.. I'm sure someone else could help though.

RCO prompt on the set default is set to 0 which is associated with CFN0 which is 4 ring cycle by default.

ld 21 prt RDR and look at CFN0-2, set the RCO on the set to either 0, 1 or 2.

Hey yyrkroon,

Thanks for the response. Sorry for my slow response. It works as you describe and so thanks very much for the assistance :)

Cheers
