Is it possible to backup a SQL database without the data?

So when you restore all you get is the tables,triggers etc but no data.

Which version of SQL are you using, 2000 or 2005?

A better approach would be to script out your database. IF you have a tool like SQL Change Manager by Idera you could easily script out all your database objects in one job. It will even save revisions of each object for you.
