Is it possible to add a user locally to a machine using GPOs?

Hello,

I have a situation whereby I want to add myself as a local administrator to around 40 Vista PCs on a Windows 2003 domain.

Is it possible to do this via group policy rather than log onto each individual machine and do it manually?

Are you a member of domain admins??, if you are then by default you have local admin rights on domain member machines

This is a less elegant method compared with pagy's, however options are always a good thing.
Create a script and tell the workstations (also via group policy) to run that script on shutdown.
