or is it others as well? Lately, I have been bothered by the lack of projects going on at my place of business. Last month I had two big projects ready to take flight, now due to lack of funding (I work for a non-profit), they have all been pulled and I have been reduced to maintaining what we have. This bothers me mainly because what we have is a lot of slow, outdated machines that are slowly breaking down and this would have been resolved with one of the doomed projects that I could have implemented.>:-<
I have voiced my frustrations to my supervisor, but it just gets lost in the sea of other people's complaints. I explain that these projects will raise office efficiency, but I just get "the economy is bad, so we have to cutback" statement. I also don't think it helps that I am the only IT guy here, managed by non-techies. Has anyone else had these type of problems or is it just my workplace?
