Hi,

I am currently working on a proposal with a company. They want to move thier Win2k Server and mail server down to my office downtown. With that, they are going to have 4 Muxed DSL circuits put in both giving 2.3 Mbps of bandwidth. They will have 5 brach offices each with a T-1. I want to know with them accessing the server if it will be quick enough for them. We will have a hardware VPN with the firewalls from my location to all thier other ones. I am curious on the speed of them opening say a word doc, or saving a 1Mb photo to the server, that type of stuff. Nothing to major. Getting stuff through network drives etc. They currently have the server in another office with a t-1 and all 4 branch offices connecting to it there. The office there has 100Mbps connectivity to it, so they dont experience any latency, but all the other offices do. It takes 3 minutes to open a word doc. Ideas, comments and suggestions please. Thanks!
