Is Inetorgpersonfix.ldf script needed?

Is it necessary to run the Inetorgpersonfix.ldf script before running ForestPrep prior to the installation of Exchange 2003?
We have a Windows 2000 domain with Exchange 2000, and I'm installing the first copy of Exchange 2003 on a new Windows Server 2003. It's not the first 2003 server in the domain but there are no 2003 Domain Controllers.
