Hello,
I've had this problem before and the only way I got around it was to reload system. Isp issued new ip's. So I open gnome network configuration amd make all tcp/ip changes - save and exit. Then I can't get online. So I re-open network configuration again. When it opens it is default on the tab names. I simply click save and exit without changing a thing and bingo back online. I check all the related files such as resolv and etho after reboot and they look O.k. It was aggravating at first but now I know what to do. What could be the problem?
Thanks
