Is FTP easy/possible

I monitor a site from MSDOS prompt
OPEN 123.32.23.31
USER username
PASSWORD ****
DIR
GET filespec
BYE

Is it easy to write my own access to this site using VB6 ? I don't see a library to add?

Have you looked at the Internet Transfer Control. It handles the basics of FTP.

If you need more capabilities, then you can use the WININET API calls.

Here is an FTP client built in VB. Simple, but very effective. I am sure you can tear it down to get what you need.
