Is Flash good for elearning simulation development? 1

Hi, there

I am thinking about using flash to develop some software simulation tutorial..mainly like show the software navigation, and then ask learners to practice the navigation. Is Flash MX good at this? Or it's better for me to find out another elearning simulation tool? If so, any recommendations?

well, i'd say generally yes,

but

it is not too easy to use flash that way,
so it heavily depends on your skills.

it is some part of a tutorial to learn photoshop and shows how to do everything in an animation. regards

Thank you for your reply! I visited the website you recommeneded. It looks great. I think for that kind of tutorial, maybe I can use the quiz template embeded in Flash. Since you said that "it heavily depends on my skills", I probably would select another software simulation tool. Thanks a lot!

FLASH MX is capable of e-Learning system, actually, I have tried it already..... and it does work.... I just used the learning interactions library.... Made some modifications on it then presto....

The flash file I made was a sort of Quiz Show.... It contains 10 sample questions, in which the movieClip can count the score and its percentage....

At first, I found it so impossible to make an interactive Q&A flash file... But my movie does work.....

Yes, now I could say that it is quite easy....

Thank you for your post. I agreed with you on the capability of flash in elearning. Did you use the Quiz template? Would you share with me the movie you made? Did you try to use flash to develp some software simulation?
