Is Field Rotation Possible in V7

Evening,
I need to rotate a field (barcode) so that it prints vertically along the side of a document. I know there is a facility to do this in V8.5 but can't seem to find a solution in V7.

Any suggestions (and not the obvious one of upgrading to V8.5)
