Have a fox based application on Unix SCO Open Server 5 and would love to be able to work with data in Access. Is this possible with something called a data pump? Would the data in Access be dynamic or static? Any other ways of accomplishing this? [sig][/sig]

Look for a product called "Isamserver". It can extract unix data and save it to a networked pc to be manipulated by access. It is a snapshot and therefore willnot corrupt your unix box. [sig][/sig]

Crabeye,

Is that like Monarch's data pump? Do you know anything about that product? I'll look for "Isamserver". Thanks for your help! Thanks to everyone else who responded. I'm new to this forum and just figured out how to reply!

I am trying to extract data from an app called Miracle which resides on an old SCO Unix box. I want to pull the data into Access. I have been looking for ISAM server but have found nowt regarding it.

Anybody out there got any suggestions?
