Is Cpq Web Agent required with CIM7

Am in the process up migrting from CIM 5.30 to CIM 7. All our server builds have the Compaq Web management service disabled. Is this required or does it's absence affect CIM7 in any way? Thanks for any assistance.

You'll still be able to get alerts from the CIM7 product when traps are sent from the nodes to the CIM7 machine....

BUT all the nice things... Application Launch, Remote CSP deployment, among other things just won't work without the WebAgent
