Is Citrix a VPN?

We used a Citrix Server to access the office....I worry about security....can this connection be a VPN?

Ok...so I guess I would need to set my server up to accept or allow a VPN??....I have tried this on my system from out of the office but I can never connect....you have to set this up at the server first???....where do you allow VPN's to connect??
