I am running an MXe with MCD4.0 with embedded messaging. When vm to email is configured, is there a way to make the email message display the caller ID of the person who left the message? It seems like I remember seeing this but now its not displaying. The first thing I did was made changed the diisplay caller ID COS options to yes. Is there anything else to check, or is this even a feature thats availible?

I've seen Caller ID from a 6510 but not embedded.

Ok that makes sense....I have a nupoint server in our demo room....that must be where I remember it from

We get caller ID, in the subject line (I think) using embedded voicemail on a 3300, by setting these options in the CoS (Class of Service) for the voicemail ports (though it might be, not all 3 are required):

Display ANI/ISDN Calling Number Only

DIsplay ANI/DNIS/ISDN Calling/Called Number

Display Caller ID on Multicall/Keylines

I just confirmed with a customer that this has stopped working after an upgrade to MCD4.0 on an MXe. Also not working on my mxe system which is on MCD4.0 what version are you running fissure?

Hi cknipe, you could be on to something there.

We were on v9, and it was working.

We are now on MCD 4.0 10.0.0.10_2, and it appears not to be (I hadn't noticed till you said it)

But, it wasn't a straight upgrade, we went from an old MX, to a CX (due to the 512mb RAM requirement), so removed a lot of trunk configuration, before moving the database, then re-added it on the CX, but, the voicemail CoS still appears ok.....

Ok I just called Mitel...it's official, they already have a DPAR out to correct this in the next update.

Missing CLI/caller ID in the subject of emails sent by advanced voicemail to email, is supposedly fixed in 10.0.1.23 just released
