Hello,
I am trying to figure out a way to set up my Citrix login page to auto install the ICA Client, and if possible to update any old versions. I want to set it so my users don't have to click anything, and then have a "silent" install of the client without any intervention. I'm sure there is some kind of ASP code that needs to be added to my login screen (Although I'm not too savvy in ASP). I am using the default login screen supplied by Citrix. I'm using Metaframe XPe and NFUSE Classic. Is there any documantation or "How-to" on doing this anywhere??

If you're using NFuse 1.7 you can simply select Enable automatic download of the ICA Win32 Web Client from ICA Client Deployment in the NFuse Admin tool.

With NFuse 1.5 there was a certain amount of user intervention, even if you followed CTX940898. I never tried 1.6, son can't say if that supported auto-download.

Hope this helps CitrixEngineer@yahoo.co.uk

Well, I dont even know what version of NFUSE except that its called "Classic". Stupid question, but where can find that out? The only area I could find anything to do with what you suggested, was the "ICA Client Update Configuration". And it appears that those settings are just for updating any existing clients. No luck finding a "NFUSE Admin" tool. Guess I should have taken a class afterall...ha.
