If ASA is going away, what is everyone using to administer stations, do call traces, etc.?
Avaya newbie so just learning and curious

Avaya has been trying to get rid of ASA for years but end users keep pushing back.

If/when it finally dies, then Putty with SUNT as the terminal type will work fine for traces and admin. GEDI and reporting will be sorely missed though. We'll just have to see if stronger/new PBX ssh ciphers than ASA supports or perhaps a new OS will finally kill it or if Avaya will add yet another service pack to keep it alive. The app was removed from the support site about 1.5 years ago so it's likely already on it's final release/SP.

Tutty is a fork of Putty that includes the AT&T 513 emulation.
ZOC also has 4410 emulation but isn't free.
