Is ARcserve 11.1 compatible with former version 7 agents?

Hello all:

Just upgraded our Win2k 2000 server in our domain from Arcserve 7 to ver 11.1 Patched it to SP 2.

Now I wonder if it is compatible with older clients such as:

Client agent for windows ver 7.0
Client agent for open files ver 7.0
Arcserve 2000 Backup Agent for Exchange

Are there any patches I need to apply to these? I am supposed to reach the open files agent configuration trhough the Arcserve 11.1 interface but i dont see it happening

They should work but it should be only an interm solution until the 11.1 agents are installed.

So, do I HAVE to upgrade the other agents? For how long can I stick to the older clients, the 30 days of the license?

I keep getting errors from the ca_lic component in the server where Arcserve 11.1 is installed, even though it was properly licensed with the license key that came with the cd sleeve. Maybe this has something to do with it?

licensing has changed and I'm not sure if it will timeout or not.
