It's not working for me (I keep getting 404, and no there's nothing at all wrong--everything's in their right place), and some other Apache sites are down too...

If you have "ServerSigniture on" then you should see it in the 404 error page. If you do, then apache is running and trying to fulfill the request but can't find the page. If you don't see your ServerSigniture then your server is not running or dns is pointing to the wrong ip. Run winipcfg.exe from the command line or "Run" box and see if you have a new ip. It sounds like if your web server just quit working for no good reason. You more than likely get your ip from a DHCP server at your ISP. Have your DNS "A" record point to the new ip and you will be up and running again.
