We are trying to generate a report in Crystal reports for Peachtree that lists the Bill of Materials for a specified Assembly with the quantity required, quantity on Hand, quantity on order, PO# of quantity on order and vendor ID. We would appreciate help in locating the data fields for the BOM components, quantity on hand and open POs.

Any help would be appreciated!

Crystal with PeachTree is fairly new, so you may be one of the first trying to do this type of report. I have been working with a couple of new customers in the past week to do Gross Profit reports. The reporting environment in the PeachTree tables is not very intuitive.

I haven't done inventory reports yet so I haven't seen the tables. But I would assume that POs and Inventory records are separate so you may need one set of tables to do the assembly info, and then another set to do the Open PO info.

Have you created any Crystal reports that pull any of the information you need? Do they have a standard Crytal Report that has parts of what you need? Ken Hamady

I've got the same question as Katie originally posted back in 2001. Kenhamady replied that Crystal with PeachTree was fairly new back then. Has anyone solved this problem since then?

I'm using Peachtree Complete 2004 with Crystal Reports for Peachtree.

Thanks,

What version of Peachtree? I have written BOM reports for Peachtree 2-1/2 years ago. Having said that, Peachtree keeps changing what fields are made available to crystal by changing its .ddfs with almost every new release. There are some cases where reports that worked 3 years ago, WILL NOT WORK with the current version of Peachtree.

This is a Peachtree problem, not a crystal problem.
