Is Adding Quantities from unrelated subreport possible?

Hi, I have a report with totals in the report footer. I have a subreport that has totals in its report footer. The subreport is in the main report - report footer and these reports are unrelated. There is no master / child relationship.

Is it possible to extract the subreport totals and place them in the main report - report footer? I've tried using the builder and I can reference the subreport footer text boxes but it does not return the correct footer value.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi, I think I answered my own question - pull the total from the main report into the subreport and add it there. That seems to work.
