Is a DB column used in a report ?

I need to find reports that contain a base measure that comes from a particular database table field.

I can see the measure in various universes but is there any way to find out if this base measure is used in any reports either as it is or as part of a variable.

I cant do this manually as I need to identify all reports that use this and we have over 250 reports !!!

Any help much appreciated.

I'm pretty sure this is impossible to track short of looking at each report.

Yes, you can with some tweaking and work on your side, see here for example:

You can extract the SQL code of each data provider (using VBA) and then do a search (Match pattern on specific columns and/or table names).
