Finally got round to upsizing from Access. Bought all the Vesrion 7.0 books, and would really like to try out SQL 7.0 before deciding on this version or 2000.

I have Access 2000 with MSDE, but it seems missing the Query Analyzer among others....

Can anyone point me in the direction where I can get the trial download?

Thanks
Peter

All I can find is a $30 evaluation copy of Backoffice 4.5 which includes SQL Server 7.0, if I didn't just find a page Microsoft failed to purge:

People are really jacking up the price of SQL server 7.0. You might check with Microsoft and find out if SQL Server 2000 subsumes the license for SQL Server 7.0. It it does, you might be able to buy SQL server 2000 and legally use a borrowed copy of SQL server 7.0 until you're ready to move to SQL Server 2000. But again, check carefully with Microsoft.
