Irritating Mouse Problem

Windows NT 4 - SP6a

This problem only occurs in Flash 5 - not in any other program e.g. Office, Explorer, Internet Explorer etc

When I scroll down, it works fine i.e. it moves one line down. However, when I scroll up, it moves about 15 lines.

The only mouse software I've used it Microsoft Intellipoint; an old version and 4.1.
I've checked all settings and they're correct (set at scroll 1 line).
I have TweakUI installed and this is also set at scroll 1 line.
I've also tried uninstalling \ reinstalling both (as well as Flash)

Does anyone else have this problem or have a solution?

as its flash 5 it is a custom built scrollbar. all i can think of is that there is something in the actionscript forcing it to jump 15 lines on scroll up.
or do you mean this happens with every flash 5 program you come across ?

sorry...its the actual Flash 5 application...not any movie I've made.

This question might have been better in a general software forum but the one I used to use seems to have disappeared...
