Hi. Im new to all this. I have two bits of kit that are both on IRQ 17. They are a Realtek RTL8139 Family PCI Fast Ethernet NIC and a VIA OHCI Compliant IEEE 1394 Host Controller. I think this is causing my computer to hang sometimes...any idea on how to put these on different addresses? Thanks. D.

Try device manager, click on the device, right click & select properties and then the recources tab. If the tick box is greyed out, you can't. If its not, you can change the IRQ by unticking the 'automatic' box. generally not recommended though.

Devices can share an IRQ though. Perhaps you need to look elsewhere for a solution.
