Hi all,

I have a HP ML570 server running SCO OpenServer 5. We have been having trouble reading data from our backups. When i looked into this it appears the SCSI controller with the DAT Drive attached and the RAID controller both have an IRQ of 7.

When i Type hwconfig -hc |more it says
There may be an interrupt conflict on interrupt vector 7

How do i change the IRQ? I booted the server with Smart Start 6.40 but couldnt see anything to do with IRQ's

Please help!!!

Thanks,

James

During bootup, look for a message on the screen that gives a key combination for going into the controller firmware. This should appear shortly after the message for getting into the computer's CMOS. IRQs for many SCSI controllers can be configured through the firmware interface on bootup.
