I am currently studying for CCNA via self study. I understand that IGRP can load share across equivalent paths. I also understand that by default the router will assume serial connections are T1 unless configured via a bandwidth command. The book is then slightly confusing as to wether or not specifying a bandwidth is a good thing. It states:-

"Since no adjustments are made to the router configuration, it can send the same amount of data down a real T1 link as it woould a 56K link if the bandwidth command isn't used."

Is this essentially saying that the T1 link would be forced to run at 56k? [sig][/sig]
